It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Phillips, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend. She peacefully left us on March 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness that touched all who were fortunate enough to know her. Linda, 84, of Dumas, Texas, was born on October 21, 1940, to Clyde Owens and Anna Louise Schuyler Owens in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Linda was a woman who embraced life with grace, strength, and an unyielding love for her family. She married Bigbee “Bob” Phillips on June 6, 1958. She was the pillar of her home, her devotion to her husband Bob unmatched and unwavering. They built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless beautiful memories with their 3 children. Her love was the thread that wove their family together, through every season of life.
Linda nurtured with wisdom and care, offering her children the guidance and support they needed to become the remarkable individuals they are today. Her home was always open, heart always ready to give, and arms always outstretched in love. She taught us all what it means to give selflessly and love unconditionally. Her role as Mama, Granny, and Grandma, brought her immense joy. She reveled in the laughter and presence of her grandchildren, leaving a legacy that will continue for generations to come. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she was a beacon of strength and wisdom for her children and their children.
