Linda Carol Pratt

Linda Carol Pratt, 80, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on January 26, 2026.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 7, 2026, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Robbie Ashlock officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Linda was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 18, 1945, to Blanche Estelle (Rainey) and Cecil Anderson Austin. She married Robert Wright in 1962, and had four children, becoming the wife and mother she had always wanted to be. In 1981, she met and remarried James Pratt, with whom she had a daughter and the two were married for 12 happy years. Linda was a strong woman who supported her children by working multiple jobs, determined to provide the best possible life for them. Her love and devotion to her family was only matched by her faith in God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwin Pratt, her son, Anthony Wayne Wright, and her brothers Cecil Ray and Kenneth Austin.

She is survived by her children Carol Wright-Henderson, Debbie Wright, Camron Wright and Jaime Pratt, her siblings Mary Jones, Joel Austin and Patricia Austin, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
