Lloyd Ervin Poole

Lloyd Ervin Poole, 91, of Amarillo, TX passed away August 10, 2025.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Paramount Baptist Church, 3801 S. Western St. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Lloyd was born May 23, 1934 in Cass County, TX to Henry Sims Poole and Willie Lee Woodruff, the 9th of 13 children. In 1956, he was drafted into the United States Army. Lloyd received several commendations during his service. After the Army, he spent most of his life farming and ranching in the Morse, TX area.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Virginia Poole; 3 daughters and their spouses; and 3 grandchildren.
