Luis Marrufo

Luis Marrufo, 69, of Amarillo, TX passed away Friday, January 31, 2025.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo, Texas. 

Luis was born June 21, 1955, in Chihuahua, MX to Octavio and Ramona Marrufo. He married Esperanza Flores in August 1992. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Octavio and Ramona Marrufo; a brother, Arturo Marrufo; and a sister, Betty Marrufo.

Survivors include his wife, Esperanza Marrufo; brothers, Jaime Marrufo (Aide), and Oscar Marrufo (Lola); sisters, Angelica Valenica (Rojelio), and Chayo Marrufo; daughters, Socorro Cortez, Linda Rodriguez (Aaron), Linda Rodriguez (Brian), and Nataly Rodriguez (Alonzo); sons, Octavio Marrufo (Destiny), Luis Marrufo (Norma), and Antonio Pedroza; forty-two grandkids; seven great-grandkids; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
