Lynn Wayne Hollinger

Lynn Wayne Hollinger, 74, of Amarillo, TX, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Claude, TX. He was born on December 2, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas to Leonard and Dorsey Hollinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Dorsey Hollinger, and his brother David Michael Hollinger.

Lynn grew up in Amarillo, TX where he attended Palo Duro High School. He lived most of his adult life in Fort Worth where he worked as a tile and marble setter. He learned his tile setting skills from his father Leonard. He enjoyed celebrating life while spending time with friends, fishing and listening to some of his favorite country music. Lynn also spent several years working as a truck driver where he enjoyed the varied experiences, people, and landscapes on the road.

After being placed in hospice care in February of 2025, he came to a place of peace and acceptance that it was time for the Lord to take him home. He will be missed and remembered.

A private memorial service will be held in his honor at a later time for the family.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
