Maria Luisa Schulze

Maria Luisa Schulze, 81, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on June 12, 2026.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Maria was born in Sugar Land, Texas on March 26, 1945, to Pedro and Dominga Aguirre. Maria worked at Furr’s and United Supermarket in the deli. She loved word search and crochet. Maria married Jerome Schulze on April 1, 1964 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Dominga Aguirre.

She is survived by her husband, Jerome Schulze of Amarillo, Texas; her daughters, Lisa Machkoveck and husband Greg of Noel, Missouri, Mona Schulze of Amarillo, Texas, Tina Gonzalez and husband Michael of Amarillo, Texas, Angela Venable and husband Roger of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and Corina Ralston of Amarillo, Texas; son, Troy Schulze and wife Tara of Amarillo, Texas; brothers, John Aguirre of Amarillo, Texas, Greg Aguirre of Amarillo, Texas; sisters, Margaret Moon of Amarillo, Texas, and Rosa Ybarra of Lefor, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
