Mary Sue Key

Mary Sue Key, 78, of Dumas died on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas

Mary Sue was born on April 22, 1948 in Dumas to Allen King “Roxy” McInturff and Thelma Copeland McInturff. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1966 and married Ronnie Key on April 23, 1966 in Dumas. She had helped Ronnie build apartments in Dumas and had worked as a hostess at the Charred Oak Steakhouse that they owned together. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of others. She loved to play bridge and visit with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Sean Key; and brother, Royce McInturff.

Mary Sue is survived by her husband, Ronnie Key; and three grandchildren, Ian Key, Valen Key, and Abby Key.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be sent to Meals on Wheels.
