Mary Evelyn Parsons

Mary Evelyn Parsons, 79, of Amarillo, TX passed away July 2, 2026.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Mary was born October 21, 1946 in Kermit, TX to Roy and Nellie Roberts. She graduated from Olton High School in 1965 and later married David Parsons on June 11, 1966 in Olton, TX. Mary had worked for Paramount Baptist Church as a secretary over 30 years. She loved to paint, sew, cook, and travel.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Parsons; daughter, Amy Stewardson and husband Ben of Frisco, TX; brother, Carl Roberts of Stuart, FL; and grandchildren, Luke, Kirklyn, and Quincy.
