On December 9, 2025, Melody “Molly” Turner of Amarillo entered into eternal rest, surrounded by the love of her family.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Born on July 14, 1954, to Roy Edward Turnerand Virginia Florence Turner, Molly’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, resilience, and devotion. From her earliest days in Amarillo, she carried a spirit of determination — whether it was proudly mowing the lawn as the last child at home, or chasing her passion for tennis at Amarillo High School and later on scholarship at Amarillo College.
Molly’s journey led her to Dumas, Texas, where she built both a career and a home. For over two decades, she served the Moore County Appraisal District with integrity and diligence. Yet her greatest joy was raising her children, instilling in them the same values of hard work, compassion, and unwavering faith that defined her own life.
After retirement, Molly returned to Amarillo and embraced her true calling as a caregiver. She poured her heart into serving others, offering not only care but companionship, laughter, and friendship. Her clients and their families often became extensions of her own — a testament to the love she gave freely and abundantly.
Above all, Molly’s life was anchored in her unshakeable faith in the Lord. She lived each season with grace, embodying kindness, humility, and devotion. Her legacy is not only in the work she accomplished but in the countless lives she touched with her compassion and steadfast love.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Virginia Turner, her sister and best friend, Sherry Turner, and her son-in-law, Brandon Bass.
She is survived by her son, Toby Boswell and wife Robyn of Loveland, CO; her daughter, Kourtney Dawson and husband Brian of Amarillo, TX; her sister, Linda Wilson and husband Tom of Fort Worth, TX; and her brother, Eddy Turner and wife Beckie of Amarillo, TX. She was a cherished aunt to seven nieces and nephews and the beloved “Mammy” to her grandchildren, Paislee Bass and Connor Boswell, who were the light of her life.
Molly’s story is one of love lived fully, faith carried boldly, and family cherished deeply. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
