Michael Henry Medina, 25, of Amarillo, TX passed away February 16, 2026 in Questa, NM.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Michael was born July 26, 2000 in Amarillo, TX to Albert Medina and Rachel Flores.

Michael, a kind and loving soul, passed away too soon. He was a son, a brother, nephew, and a friend. His adventurous spirit and free-spirited nature touched the lives of everyone he met. Whether he was experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, hiking in the mountains, or spending time with friends, Michael approached life with enthusiasm and joy. He had a passion for cooking and loved sharing his creations with loved ones. He also found solace and inspiration in music, always eager to discover new artists and songs. Michael's kindness and compassion left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his unwavering love and zest for life.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparent’s, Jerry and Helen Medina, Henry Flores. His Uncle Rique Flores.

Michael is survived by his parents, Albert and Rachel Medina. His grandmother Helen Flores. His siblings, Albert, Alyssa, Sophia, and Sean Medina. His sister-in-law Britni Medina. His cousin, Xavier Maestas. His best friend Matthew Martinez and his 4 nieces, Adelynn Medina, Jaelyn Daosavanh, Arianna Velasquez, Jalila Quashie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to Boxwell Brothers to assist the family with Michaels funeral service.
