Michelle "Nana" Bradley

April 5, 1952 — January 14, 2026

Amarillo

Michelle Bradley, beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on April 5, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late J.C. and Alice Snider.

Michelle dedicated her life to caring for those she loved. She met the love of her life, Arthur “Poppy” Boyd Bradley, when she was just 13 years old, and together they built a beautiful life and family rooted in love, laughter, and strength. Michelle was raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and carried her faith with her in her own quiet and personal way throughout her life.

Throughout her years, she worked hard — from driving cars to help support her family to helping manage Walgreens — but her most cherished and fulfilling role was being a mother and Nana. She found her greatest joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow, always showing up with open arms, a warm heart, and endless love. Her children — Arthur Bradley Jr., Nathan Bradley, Mistie Barton, Clifton Bradley, and Connie Bradley — were her pride and joy.

Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Alice Snider; her beloved husband, Arthur “Poppy” Bradley; and her siblings Joy Snider, Patricia Bernard, Beverly Korgere, and Dwayne Snider. She is lovingly survived by her siblings Jerry Snider and Jean Steward; her grandchildren Hannah Halpin, Havin Bradley, Abriana Bradley, Gabbi Bradley, Blake Barton, Alicia Gonzales, Bradley Barton, Brody Barton, and Bella Barton; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Those who knew Michelle will remember her as selfless, giving, loving, and resilient. Her doors and her arms were always open — whether someone needed a bed to rest in, a hug to feel safe, or a listening ear. A true queen of spoiling, she never missed a school lunch, a ball game, or a chance to treat her grandchildren to something sweet. When she wasn’t with family, she could be found enjoying The Walking Dead, a bowl of chocolate ice cream, or dancing to her favorite Shania Twain songs.

Michelle shared special friendships with Jodi York, Tammy Jones, Jim Batenfield, and Joe Cagle — bonds that brought her laughter, comfort, and memories filled with joy.

Michelle Bradley’s memorial service will be held on January 31st, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109.

She will be remembered always for her selflessness, her laughter, and her unwavering love. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort knowing she is reunited with her beloved Poppy, and she can finally rest in peace.
