Moneke Denice Glass

Moneke Denice Glass, 40, of Amarillo, TX passed away March 28, 2026.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, April 3, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Moneke was born August 2, 1985 in Amarillo, TX to Allen Lee Lewis and Siglinda Michelle Glass Johnson.

She worked at The Heritage Convalescent Center as a CNA for many years. Moneke loved shopping, especially for purses!

Moneke was a sweet and kind lady and lived her life for her children.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie and Earline Glass, and two uncles, Artis Glass and Rufus Brazil.

Moneke is survived by her mother, Siglinda Johnson and husband George of Amarillo, TX; father, Allen Lee Lewis of Lubbock, TX; sons, Samajae Glass, Kentrion Glass, and Takadrian Glass of Amarillo, TX; sister, Danyel Glass of Amarillo, TX; and nephew, Ja-Korrie Glass of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her.
