Norma Jean Jones

Norma Jean “Nana” Jones, 77, of Canyon, TX passed away July 3, 2024.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 8, 2024 at Hillside Christian Church, Canyon. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM, in Heart Cemetery in Booker, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Norma Jean was born March 12, 1947 in Perryton, TX during a blizzard to Imogene (Mounsey) and Vernon Fronk. She graduated from Booker High School and Pampa Cosmetology School. Norma Jean married Tom Jones on June 21, 1968 in Booker, TX at the Friends Church. She enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR, cooking, watching cooking videos, and travelling to watch her grandson play baseball. She loved the mountains, going to Red River, and “ALL THINGS COUNTRY” including décor and music! Norma Jean lived in Canadian, Booker, and Canyon until her passing. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Jones; and parents, Imogene and Vernon Fronk. 

Norma Jean is survived by her son, Robert Jones and wife Johnna; daughter, Kelly Jones Lindley; grandchildren, Braelly Jones, Sophie Jones, Emma Jones, and Brixton Lindley; siblings, Bonnie Knutson, Lesa Fronk, and Keith Fronk and wife Sheri; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
