Orfa T. Gutierrez, 60, of Amarillo, TX passed away January 17, 2026.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 23, 2026 at Messiah’s House. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Orfa was born April 28, 1965 in Lockney, TX to Oseas and Olivia Torres. Orfa lived in Amarillo, Texas for 40 wonderful years, touching the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. She attended Amarillo College and followed her calling to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), dedicating her life to caring for others and offering a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her selfless spirit, gentle heart, and boundless generosity will forever remain in the memories of all who knew her.

Orfa is now resting in the arms of the Lord, and her light continues to shine through the lives of those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jacob Isaiah Gutierrez; Oseas de Torres; Shirley Torres Rivelas; and Oseas Sr. Torres.

She is survived by her cherished family: Husband Israel Gutierrez; children Joshua Gutierrez (Shakera Gutierrez); Kimberly Gutierrez; Kaylea Gutierrez; Josiah Gutierrez; and Grandchildren Aadan Josiah Lugo, Adrian Enriquez Lugo, Avery Jocelyn Lugo, Micha Oseas Gutierrez. May love, faith, and devotion continue to guide and inspire them every day.
