Pablo "Paul" Contreras

Pablo “Paul” Contreras, 98, of Amarillo, TX passed away September 30, 2024.

Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Trinity Fellowship Church, 5000 Hollywood Rd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Paul was born June 7, 1926 in Sabinal, TX to Victor Contreras and Merejilda Ortiz (Guzman). Paul was a successful farmer/rancher for many years finishing out his career at Pantex retiring in 1990.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Lulu Contreras; and sons, Victor and Louis Contreras.

Paul is survived by brothers, Monty, James, and Alejandro Ortiz; daughter, Min Galaviz and husband John; sons, Richard Contreras, Henry Contreras and wife Delores; daughters-in-love, Lupe Contreras, Donna Contreras, and Matilda Fant; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 34 great great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
