Pamela "Pam" Gardner

Pam Gardner, 70, of Amarillo went to be home with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, in Rector Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, in Rector Pioneer Chapel. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Pam was born on Oct. 17, 1955. She worked as a waitress for many years, then found a home at United Market Street for 12 years, where she would have retired. She loved her job as a cashier and had a lot of customers that knew her by her wonderful smile and personality.

Pam loved music and cooking for her family. She enjoyed helping anyone that she could. She was a very loving person and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Perry; and her mother, Norma Smith.

Survivors include a son, Chris Pickins and wife Nicole; her grandchildren, Miranda, Jordon, Dalyn and Austin; her great-grandchildren, Narissa and Gabe; a brother, Jimmy; a sister, Dorothy; a niece, Candy; and a great-niece, Verneda.
