Pamela Louise Jones, 75, of Amarillo, TX passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
Family visitation will be from 2-4:00 PM, Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 10, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Mr. Corky Holland of First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Pamela was born June 10, 1951, in Amarillo, TX to Glen and Virginia (McCracken) Gibson.
Following graduation from Amarillo High School in 1969, she earned an associate’s degree in word processing from Amarillo College. She met Calvin Jones and they were married on December 27, 1969 at Central Christian Church.
She loved Easter and coloring easter eggs with the kids. Pamela loved to color, watching NASCAR, and was part of the pit crew at the drag races when Calvin raced. She enjoyed riding on the motorcycle, travel, collecting spoons from their adventures, and had a huge collection of snow globes. She lived a wonderful life, she loved everyone. Pamela especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was at most all sporting events including travelling all over the nation for gymnastics and was a nationally rated judge for power tumbling. Pamela was a kid magnet, she loved them and they loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Glen and Virginia Gibson and her sister Debbie Haag.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 56 ½ years Calvin Jones; children, Katherine Hardy (Joseph), Stephen Jones (Trish Mai), and Crystal Mestas; grandchildren, Tommy McFarlin (Kelcy), Cordell McFarlin (Drea), Corbyn Jones (Zoey), Harley Jones (Kira McCracken), Makayla Coker (Ayden), and Elly Jones; great-grandchildren, McKinlee McFarlin, Nolan McFarlin, Asher McFarlin, Skylar McFarlin, Peyten McFarlin, Journey Diaz, Marley Jones, Bonnie Jones, and Harper Coker; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
