Patricia Ann Langwell Weaver

Patricia Ann Langwell Weaver, 85, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on November 30, 2023.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at St. Stephen Church Amarillo with Pastor Travis Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Patricia was the first-born of Vaughnie B. and Carldeene Langwell on March 4, 1938, in Perryton, Texas. She attended grade school and most of high school at Canadian High School in Canadian, Texas. Patricia graduated from Amarillo High School in Amarillo, Texas in 1956. While attending Amarillo High School, she was a member of the Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council, Thespians, she Lettered in Speech, and was a 5-Star Honor Bar Thespian.

Patricia married Lynn W. Weaver on May 22, 1961; he passed away on November 26, 1973. Together they had two sons, Tyler L. Weaver, born on March 22, 1964, and Andrew D. Weaver, born on March 3, 1966.

Patricia worked for the U.S. Civil Service at Amarillo Air Force Base in Amarillo, Texas from 1956-1961, where she won the “Miss Fire Prevention” beauty pageant, the U.S. Civil Service at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia from 1961-1962, the U.S. Civil Service at Amarillo Air Force Base, Amarillo, Texas from 1962-1963, and the U.S. Civil Service at Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, South Dakota from 1963-1964.

Patricia was passionately devoted to support for widowhood coping organization THEOS, Narcolepsy awareness and treatment, and visitation and correspondence with hundreds of inmates. She was a devoted Christian. Patricia enjoyed writing and poetry.

Preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Weaver; son, Andrew Weaver; and brother, Doyl.

She is survived by her sister, Linda Mills, of Trophy Club, Texas; son, Tyler Weaver, of Amarillo, Texas; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and additional family members.

Memorial donations may be made to Brain Cancer Research, American Heart Association, or Narcolepsy Network in Patricia’s name.
