Patsye Ruth (Priest) Jenkins

Patsye Ruth Priest Jenkins, 97, of Amarillo, TX, died Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Visitation with the family will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Patsye was born February 2, 1928, in Pear Valley, TX, to Clarence Eugene and Jennie Elizabeth (Fowler) Priest.

Patsye married Dee Ray Jenkins on December 22, 1947, in Brady, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two-year old sister, Billie Lucille; her husband; and an infant grandson, William Reid Jenkins.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Redd (Anthony), and Darla Grimes (Ray); son, Jeff Jenkins (Vali); grandchildren, DeJon, Linsye (Chad), Jenny (Tait), Jake, Gracie (Jakh), and Jeb; and four great-grandchildren.
