Phyllis “Phil” Bradley, 91, of Amarillo, TX passed away, Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
Services will be private. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Phil was born August 4, 1934, in Happy, TX to Bert and Annie Lemmons.
In high school she played on the basketball team, and was a member of the pep squad and FHA. She married her high school sweetheart, Melvin E. “Mel” Bradley, on January 11, 1952. At the time of his death, they had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
She was a member of Polk Street Methodist Church but had been unable to attend for several years due to her health.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shelley Cay Bradley; grandson, Taylor Ray Bradley; and brother, Johnny Lemmons.
Survivors include her son, Chris Bradley, and wife Jan; grandson, Nathan Bradley, and wife Jessica; four great grandchildren, Connor, Caroline, Cole, and Camille; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.
