Priscilla Ann Gast, 80, of Amarillo, Tx passed peacefully in her home on June 10th, 2025. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loyal friend, Priscilla’s life was marked by hard work and an unwavering love for her family.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
Priscilla was born on December 6th, 1944 in Amarillo, Tx to Viola Hazel (McCain) and Thomas Eugune Pearcy. In her earlier years, Priscilla had a passion for playing pool and hanging out with her friends. She was also known for throwing great parties! She also loved being with her family any chance she could, holidays were her favorite because it would get everyone together.
In the mid 80’s, Priscilla locked eyes on the love of her life, Mr. Tom Gast. The two spent over 20 beautiful years building a life filled with all the love and so much laughter.
Priscilla spent over 25 years working at Wal-Mart and loved her customers. She always said they are what kept her going and kept her young.
Priscilla is proceeded in death by the love of her life, Tom Gast, her parents Ola and Tommy Pearcy, her brothers Lynn and Gene Pearcy, her sister Lee Cox and her beloved cat, Charlie.
She is survived by her sons Rex Sain and partner Valerie of Amarillo, Gary Sain, of Lubbock, Corby Sain, of Houston and Randy Sain and wife or in the words of Priscilla “the daughter she never had”, Donna, of Amarillo. Grandchildren, Danielle, Johnna and MJ, Adam and Melissa, Nick, Melissa, and John David (JD). Great-grandchildren Mia, Eleia, Ava, Trey and Mina. She is also survived by her cousin Bonnie, who was more like a sister, and several nieces and nephews.
As much as we are going to miss her, we know that she has been healed and made whole in the arms of Jesus. We are so happy that she is finally reunited with her precious love and her family.
