Rae "Maxine" Galbreath

Rae “Maxine” Galbreath, 77, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on June 30, 2025.

Private family services will be held.

Maxine was born in Shamrock, Texas on February 18, 1948, to Mittie Jewell (Inman) and David Harrison Galbreath.

Maxine loved reading, gardening, and cooking. She was also very artistic and could be found crafting, painting, and drawing.

Maxine worked as a draftsman for a civil engineering firm for 33 years.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Pleasant; daughter, Donda Tosh (husband Kyle Tosh); granddaughters, Morgan Baldock, and Allison Dillon (husband Tim Dillon); and great-granddaughters, Sophia, Teagan, Amelia and Elouise.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad; and siblings, Jack, Joan, Burrell, Mary, Pat.
