Ramona Gay Swinney

Mona Swinney, a woman of unwavering faith, boundless love and incredible strength passed away unexpectedly on February 1 2025. She was 56 years old. Her sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Mona was preceded in death by her parents Ruth McGee and Wayne McGee.

Mona was a cherished wife and beloved mother. She is survived by her husband Don Swinney of Amarillo Texas her children Katie-Cole Junell and husband Anthony of Amarillo Texas. Ashlea Crawford and husband Toney of Pleasanton Texas. Dawna Swinney and Johnny Swinney.

Her brother Mike McGee & wife Susan, her sisters, Theresa McGee, Rhonda Stephenson & husband Greg all of Amarillo Texas and Karan Peoples & husband Doug of Canyon Texas.

She leaves a legacy of love with her treasured grandchildren.

A host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Her spirit touched all who knew her, and her memory will forever be a beacon of light.

Such a joyous moment to dance with Jesus!!
