Raquel was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 23, 1975, to Esther Barrandey and Jesus Mendoza. Raquel Mendoza was a devoted wife, mother, and woman of faith who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was married to her loving husband, Arturo Lopez, and together they built a home filled with love, warmth, and compassion. As a stay-at-home wife and mother, Raquel poured her heart into raising her two sons, Luis Lopez and Alexis Lopez, always putting their needs above her own.

Raquel was known for being loving, caring, sweet, sincere, and truly beautiful inside and out. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and staying close to her faith through church. Her presence brought comfort, guidance, and unconditional love to those around her.

She often reminded her sons that she would not always be there to cook for them, asking what they would do without her one day—a reflection of both her nurturing spirit and the deep love she had for her family. Those words now serve as a lasting memory of her care, devotion, and the irreplaceable role she held in their lives.

Raquel’s love will continue to live on through her family, and she will be deeply missed. She will always be remembered by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Mendoza.
