Robin Dee Smith, 63, of Logan, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas, holding hands with her devoted husband and best friend, TJ.
Robin was born on May 15, 1962, in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and spent most of her life on the shores of Ute Lake in Logan, where she built a life full of love, family, and meaningful connections.
In her youth, Robin was an exceptional athlete, spending her summers waterskiing with friends and making history as a member of Logan’s first state championship-winning basketball team. She met the love of her life, TJ, as a teenager, and they were married in 1981. Together, they shared 44 beautiful years of marriage, raising a family and building a life rooted in love, service, and community.
Robin is survived by her husband, TJ Smith of Logan; her daughter, Heather Griffitt and husband Tanner, along with their four children: Presley, Gunner, Halle, and Harper; her son, Taylor Smith and wife Simone, and their three children: Kali, Kinzi, and Brooks; her mother, Janet Bradshaw of Logan; and her brothers, Russell Feerer and wife Kelley, and Keith Feerer and wife Joyce, all of Logan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Feerer; her sister, Kathy Feerer; and her father Robert Bradshaw.
Robin’s deep faith guided every part of her life. She was a longtime member of the Logan Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school and served with humility and joy. Robin was also an active member of the Logan Chamber of Commerce and the Longhorn Booster Club for many years, where she worked to promote the well-being of the community she loved. Her life was a testament to selfless service and Christian love.
Robin worked faithfully alongside TJ in their real estate and insurance business, where her warmth and sincerity left a lasting impact on countless clients and friends. Her passion for helping others, her devotion to her family, and her love for her grandchildren was her greatest joy. Her home was always filled with great food, blooming flowers, laughter, and love.
She will be remembered as a woman of faith, strength, compassion, and generosity—a shining light in the lives of everyone she touched.
A celebration of Robin’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, at 10:00 a.m. MST at the Logan High School gymnasium. Interment will follow in Logan Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
