Rosie Crawford

December 15, 1988 — April 25, 2026

Our beautiful, Rosie Posie, joined her very deserved spot with the angels and saints on April 25, 2026.

Rose has been a best friend from the very beginning . She was a partner in crime. A tiny little stick of dynamite . She didn’t like being told she couldn’t do something . She snuck our neighborhood friend, Jordan into the house without telling a soul and then helped sneak her dog Buddy into the house at night because she didn’t want him outside in the cold.

She loved her animals - all the puppies and kittens . And like our kitties, she seemed to have 9 lives of her own. Just when she would have all the complications from whatever medical problem she was facing she would come back brighter than ever .

She learned how to ride a bike on her own and told no one. Mama and Daddy were afraid she would fall and break her arm.

She graduated high school in 2007 from Randall High School, then went on to Amarillo College and got her pharmacy tech certificate , studying all the vocabulary while ironically being terrible at spelling .

She and her sister took their one and only sisters only trip to Red River, NM some time later and watched it snow while sitting in a hot tub.

She met her husband and they had two beautiful babies and she helped her sister with her eldest Noah. She called Noah her first baby and cared for him starting when he was only 6 weeks old , when her sister had to go back to work. He developed his love of Dr Pepper due to her sharing her drinks with him at the ripe age of 1 (we didn’t know this til much later ) . She was a mama bear to all her babies .

A wonderful daughter, she would join Daddy at all the car shows and would come over weekly for coffee . The joke was she never really did move out of their house and would walk in like she owned the place unannounced even though she had been moved out married for 9 years .

This August she would have celebrated 10 years married to Brandon. She was very happy with her life .

It’s hard to capture all the magic that she was with words . There are a million stories we want to share and not enough space. The world was a brighter and funnier place having her in it . We will miss her terribly.

Rose is survived by her husband Brandon Crawford; son, Cody Crawford; daughter, Louise Crawford; parents, David and Doris Rogers all of Amarillo, TX; in-laws, Dwayne and Christy Crawford of Kress, TX; sister, Lisa Nemer and husband Charlie of Wyley, TX; brother-in-law, Zach Crawford and wife Diana of El Paso, TX; and several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
