Rudy was born February 14, 1964, in Lubbock, TX to Rudy Moreno Sr. and Selda (Esqueda) Moreno.
He never met a stranger, and he spoke to anyone he met. He loved his best friend and wife, his children, and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always told them the importance of school, college, sports, and especially family!
Rudy’s passion was cooking on the grill for everyone, especially his in-laws, and gatherings for anyone and occasion they needed. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan from head to toe, die-hard! Rudy loved Harleys but never got to fulfill his dream of getting his and going to travel. He was part of the Forgotten Teen Run and enjoyed the Toys-for-Tots Run. He was a huge advocate of Mama Lynn and Bo Ioor’s Ride for the Cure Breast Cancer Run. He always wanted to make sure he had a part of making sure ALL kids had a Christmas.
He also loved playing pool, especially tournaments. Of most importance was his love for his church and church family at St. Matthew’s Methodist Church.
Rudy was the owner of RA Concrete Construction. Rudy’s love of art with concrete was his joy in making sure his customers were happy with his work. He took great pride in working with concrete and said nothing was impossible to make as long as people were happy and enjoyed it.
