Sarah Christine Lorlovick

Sarah Powell Lorlovick, 43, of Amarillo, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Redeemer Christian Church with April Torres and Pastor David Ritchie officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Sarah was born on October 15, 1982 in New Orleans Louisiana, to Wayne and Lorraine Powell and graduated Long Beach High School in 2001 in Long Beach, Mississippi.

She was a faithful Christian, a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a protective big sister, a loving daughter, and an avid runner with a history of competing on the local cross- country team. Every day Sarah strove to share God’s love with others daily, especially her family, whom she loved more than anything. Her one desire would be that everyone she loved and encountered would also know the freedom found in Jesus Christ. Sarah also had a fascination with Japanese culture, cuisine, art and media. She loved movies, especially the Jurassic Park series and was an avid reader. If you wanted to find Sarah on the weekend, she could be found with her family having fun at Starbucks, Target, or Five Below. Her contagious laugh, tenacious spirit, and stoic resiliency left a legacy of strength and endurance for others to follow. Sarah’s unmatched kindness and giving spirit impacted so many and is one that will be missed dearly. Sarah loved everyone and was very loved by everyone.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Powell.

Sarah is survived by her husband, Jerrad Lorlovick; son, Chrisopher Bond; daughter Emma Lorlovick; father Wayne Powell; sister, Hanna (Dustin) Marmalich; and nephews, Isaac and Dalton Marmalich.
