Shauna Gail Rickles

Shauna Gail Rickles, 73, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on January 2, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 6, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Shauna was born in Amarillo, Texas, on February 20, 1952, to E.K. and Jean Blankenship.

Shauna found joy in traveling, scrapbooking, and preparing meals that brought her family together. Above all, she treasured the special “meme days” spent with her grandchildren, moments that became some of her most beloved and lasting memories.

She was preceded in death by her father, E.K. Blankenship, her mother, Jean Blankenship, step-father Hobart Woods, and sister Lynda Vantine.

She is survived by her husband, David Rickles; daughter, Allison Hayes(Shorty); son Ryan Rickles(Lindsey); grandchildren, Baylor Rickles(Serenity), Brayden Rickles, Lauren Hayes, Jace Hayes; great grandchild-Oliver Rickles; sister, Glonda Calvin (Joe) and many other loved extended family members.

She was very loving, kind and compassionate.
