Shirley Wood

Shirley was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on September 8, 1933, and passed September 11, 2026. 

Her parent’s names were John and Ruth Litchford. She was married to Roy Wood in 1949 and they were married for 72 years.

This obituary is written in loving memory of a woman who lived 93 beautiful years, her life was a quiet testament to the power of kindness. She had a gift for making people feel that they were noticed. Whether it was a warm meal at her table, a freshly baked pie at M.E. Moses, a card that arrived right on time, or a kind word offered in a grocery store aisle, she left a mark on everyone she met. Her home was a gathering place — a warm kitchen, an open door, and a table where family and friends always felt welcome. 

Shirley was preceded in death by husband Roy Wood, brother James Litchford, sister Louise Adams, sister Thelma Dugan, and sister Norma Woods. 

Shirley is survived by sister Carol Roark, daughter Marsha and husband Terry, son Ronnie and wife Cindy, daughter Regina and husband Randall, son Brett and wife Nilza. Shirley had four children, nine grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. 

We are sad for the passing of Shirley Wood who was a wonderful person in every way. She will be welcomed and loved in heaven as all that know her well know.
