Stephon William Hodge II

Stephon William Hodge II, 25, of Amarillo, TX passed away on April 3, 2026.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Stephon was born on August 20, 2000, in Arlington, Texas, to Stephon and Virginia Hodge. He spent his childhood surrounded by his four rambunctious yet adoring siblings.

Growing up, they were all active in sports, but Stephon especially excelled in wrestling and baseball, eventually earning a college baseball scholarship.

Over the years, Stephon built many meaningful friendships and strong bonds with his teammates. He was known for his compassionate nature, generous spirit, and quick wit. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and joy to everyone he encountered.

Stephon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. If you ask anyone what they will remember most about Stephon, it will always be his smile.

Above all, his greatest love was his son, Stephon Myles Hodge. He adored him completely and was so proud to be his father. His love for his son was endless and will live on through him.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace and surrounded by God’s love. We trust that God has welcomed him home, where he is now at peace, free from pain, and watching over those he loves.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William (Willie) Hodge; grandmother, Carol Rita Hodge; uncle, Walter Harris; grandfather, Albert Navarrete; and uncle, Andy Navarrete.

He is survived by his parents, Stephon and Virginia Hodge; his beloved son, Stephon Myles Hodge; and his siblings, Ashley Williams and husband Marchello Williams, Paul Ponce, Derek Ponce, Bryce Pleasant, Jamila Whitaker, Sheldon Hodge; and many extended family members and friends.
