Teresa Love, 70, passed away on July 12, 2026, in Allen, Texas.
Teresa was born on November 21, 1955, in Amarillo, Texas, where she was raised. Over the course of her life, she also made her home in Canyon, Snyder, Big Spring, Grand Prairie, and Allen.
Faith was the foundation of Teresa’s life. Her trust in God was deep, steadfast, and tested through many years of illness and hardship. Even as her physical strength declined, her faith remained firm. She wanted the people she loved to know God, and even in her final days, she remained grateful for His presence and held firmly to her hope in Christ.
Teresa considered being a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker her greatest calling. Her family grew through every season of her life, and she loved her sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, and friends deeply.
Throughout her life, Teresa worked in several roles, including flower arranging, church administration, accounting, and nursing administration. She was creative by nature and loved decorating for Christmas and every season, arranging flowers, working on arts and crafts, and finding ways to make a house feel like a home. She also loved cats and treasured simple moments spent with her family.
Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Norma F. George, and her husband, Rodney Alan Love, who died in 2019.
She is survived by her father, Paul B. George Jr.; her brother, Paul Calvin George; her sons, Mark and his wife, Somer, Mac and his wife, Haley, Scott and his wife, Elizabeth, and Brandon and his wife, Nancy; her grandchildren, Eli and his wife, Khari, Benjamin, Claire, Ethan, Eleanor, and Evelyn; and other family members and friends who loved her.
A memorial service celebrating Teresa’s life will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, Texas.
