Tilmon “Tim” Henry Holloway, Jr passed away September 27, 2026.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 1208 S. Tyler. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Tim was born July 17,1939 in Baton Rouge, LA to Berta Odetta Price Holloway and Tilmon Henry Holloway, Sr. He proudly served in the United Stated Air Force. Tim then attended Northeast Louisiana State then graduated from Washington University with an MA in Hospital Administration. Tim married Beverly Britt Holloway on July 24, 1964, in Shreveport, LA. They were blessed to spend 61 years together.

Tim Holloway announced his retirement from Baptist Community Services (BCS) in Amarillo after more than 41 years with the organization and its predecessor health care entities HPBH. He was scheduled to retire December 31, 2011, as President and Chief Executive Officer of BCS and the High Plains Christian Ministries Foundation. Tim spent the last years of his life caring for the love of his life, Tish. He loved God, his wife and family more than anything.

He was preceded in death by Beverly “Tish” Holloway, his son Mark Holloway, and his sister Theresa Taylor and both of his parents.

Survived by Amy Boren and husband David “Tripp”, and Jennifer Christine Holloway Osteen and husband Tucker Osteen, MD; daughter-in-law, Cara Ebey; grandchildren, Aaron Holloway and wife Lauren, Abigayle Hall and husband Jesse, Allyson Holloway, Raegan Boren, Carson Boren, Olivia Osteen, Madeline Osteen, and Graeme Osteen; great-grandchild, Parker Holloway; niece Debbie Dukes and nephew James Taylor
