Todd C. Posey, 60, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on November 10, 2023 after a courageous battle against colon/liver cancer.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 16, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Todd was born in Amarillo, Texas on March 2, 1963, to Virginia and Carroll Posey. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1981 and went to the San Diego Golf Academy. He was a golf pro in Midland and Amarillo. Todd owned a golf course on the old air base, Amarillo Public Golf Course. He later attended the South Plains Police Academy.

Todd worked for Amarillo College Police Department, Autco Tire Pros, and later Brown Subaru as a service writer.

Todd married Krista Maxwell in Amarillo, Texas at Paramount Terrace Christian Church on April 28, 2001.

Todd was a family man who loved following his children and watching all of their activities, especially tennis. He was passionate about the Randall Raider Tennis Team. He was always willing to help people and was there for everyone around him. He was also Mr. Fix It and could fix just about anything. Todd loved his animals. Although it was never his choice to bring home the animal, once it found its way into their house, it ended up in his lap.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Posey; mother, Virginia Posey; and uncles, Fletcher Smith, and Lindley Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Krista Posey, of Amarillo, Texas; son, Logan Posey, of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Landrey Posey, of Amarillo, Texas; aunt, Charlotte Smith, of Amarillo, Texas; uncles, Bob Posey and his wife Norma, of Amarillo, Texas, and Lee Brown and wife Norma, of Austin, Texas; sisters, April Neeley and husband Bob, of Amarillo, Texas, Eve Gerber and husband Sid, of Levelland, Texas; in-laws, Darrel and Joan Maxwell, of Amarillo, Texas, Kevin and Jill Maxwell, of Amarillo, Texas, Marisa and Cary Younger, of Amarillo, Texas; Brian and Autumn Maxwell, of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Mark and Judy Maxwell, Canyon, Texas; cousin, Sally Horton and husband Gil, of Amarillo, Texas; and Many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Harrington Cancer Center, BSA Hospice of the Southwest, and MD Anderson the Woodlands Campus for the care and compassion Todd received.
