Trent Dwayne Davis, 65, of Amarillo, Texas went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving son, Ryan; sister, Pam McKinnon and husband, Ronnie McKinnon and daughter-in-law, D'Aun Davis. He was also lifted up by surrounding thoughts and Prayers of loving Family Members, Friends and Community that were not able to be by his side. Trent has now been able to meet up with his late wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Davis in Heaven.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a viewing on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount, Amarillo, Texas 79109 from 2-4:00 pm. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Trent was a Christian and believed in God. He was kind and loving and loved so much. Trent was born in Ratliff City, Oklahoma on September 5th 1959, to Bryan and Pamela Hope Davis. Trent has a sister, Pamela McKinnon. He grew up in a loving home. He graduated from Duncan High School then graduated from Okmulgee Tech in OK with a Degree in Auto Part Sales. Stewart & Stevenson employed him for many years. In 2002, Trent met the love of his life, Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Glasgow. They married on August 13, 2004, where they were joined together with their children. Cindy sadly passed in November 2020 due to COVID. They were and Trent still was a member of the Amarillo Area Corvette Club. He is also an Honorary Member of 7 Bar Jeep Club in Duncan, OK. Trent recently retired from being a City Employee and then a Subcontractor, for the City. He just couldn't seem to stay away from the City. He didn't like not having something to do. He would go hunting with his best friend, Daniel Powell. He liked to play card games and dominoes. He participated in CrossFit and started to play pickleball. He went on Jeeping trips. He liked to go on drives just to enjoy the road. He always gave his love and support. He would make you feel welcome and comfort you if needed. He always seemed to have a joke, about every situation, up his sleeve. Again, he is loved so so much and he will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his late wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Davis in 2020.

Trent is survived by his parents, Bryan and Pamela Hope Davis of Ratliff City, OK; son, Ryan Davis and wife D'Aun of Amarillo, TX; his sister, Pam and husband Ronnie McKinnon of Duncan, OK; niece, Heather and husband Jeremy Burleson of Duncan, OK; nephew, Toby McKinnon of Duncan, OK; committed partner Christy Jane Stone Floyd of Shamrock, TX; Brittney and husband Patrick Fort of Shady Shores, TX; Brianna and husband Landon Friemel of Wildorado, TX, Bradley Ray and wife Randi of Amarillo, TX; his grandchildren Madisyn, Masyn, Avery, Kinsey, Mason James, Eason; Rhonda McKinnon of Duncan, TX; Jamie and husband Dave Sader of Amarillo, TX.

Please do not be sad, be happy. Trent is now dancing and dining in Heaven with God, Jesus and Cindy. This is not his end. This is only his beginning.

Trent is very very loved. He will be greatly missed.
