Saturday, April 26th, Vernon Harold Fritts, with his wife and daughters at his side, our beloved father, husband, brother, cousin, friend…exhaled the last breath from his earthly body and was set free.
Proving that two things can be true at once, we are equally joyous for him and sad for ourselves. Mostly, we are grateful for the mercy and grace that prepared a way for him and will be our comfort.
Preceded in death by his parents Walker and Imogene Fritts, sisters-in-law Ruth Ann Fritts and Roxann Collins Kinzey.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeannie Fritts, daughters Machelle and husband Bobby Bates, Leslee and husband Richard Bachus. Granddaughters Alyssa and husband Nick Kilgore, Casey and husband William Stelter, and Ashley Bates. Great-grandchildren Dixie, Raiden, Walter, Keli, and Caiden. Brother Rex Fritts, Cousin Cherry Ann Carruthers, Brother & Sister-in-law Sam and Ruth Collins, Brother-in-law Douglas Kinzey. And numerous additional cousins, relatives, and beloved friends.
