Vicki Lane Richie

Vicki Lane Richie, 66, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on September 15, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M., Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 25, 2026, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Vicki was born in Slaton, Texas on January 9, 1960, to Lois Ann (Mobley) and Roy Lynn Wells. She attended and graduated Amarillo High School in 1978, where she met her beloved husband Mark.

On May 13, 1983, Vicki married Mark and they began their family.

Vicki left this world way too soon. She was an extraordinary wife and devoted mother. Her greatest calling was being a mom, and she committed her life to caring for her family, and creating a loving home.

She became a grandmother in 2013, and she was the most incredible Dollie to her two grandboys. She never missed a single sporting event, class party, or school program. She adored being Dollie more than anything in the world.

Vicki loved her family so much. She was always cooking, baking, and spoiling them. She also loved her two sweet pups, Lola and Pearl.

Vicki loved Jesus and she knew Him deeply. She will be eternally missed.

She was preceded in death by…her parents, and both maternal and paternal grandparents

Vicki is survived by…Her loving and faithful husband Mark Richie, and their daughter Maci Reinbold, her husband Jacob, and their two children Luke (13 ) and Yummy (10) As well as her brothers and sister and many cousins, nieces and nephew.
