Virma Carolina Price

Virma Carolina Price, lovingly known for her boundless heart and gentle spirit, passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 49. She was born on August 26, 1976, and spent her life pouring love into everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Virma was the beloved wife of her soulmate and high school sweetheart, Rodric Price. They shared 32 years together rooted in friendship and unwavering love. She was a proud and deeply devoted mother to her two cherished children, Josiah Price and Tatyana Price, who were the center of her world. Her joy multiplied with the blessing of three beautiful grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ramon and Isidra Castillo, and her uncle, Arturo Castillo, who welcomed her home in heaven.

Virma dedicated 18 years of her life as a Pre-K teacher, shaping young hearts with patience, kindness, and compassion. To her students, she was more than a teacher. She was a source of comfort, encouragement, and unconditional care. Her classroom was a place where children felt safe, seen, and loved, a reflection of who she was at her core.

Virma had an extraordinary ability to make people feel valued and loved. Her kindness knew no limits, her compassion was instinctive, and her love was freely given. She treasured time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be held close forever.

Even in passing, Virma continued to give. As an organ donor, she offered the precious gift of life to others—a final, powerful testament to her selfless and generous spirit.

Though her absence leaves an immeasurable ache, we find comfort in knowing that Virma has been welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior. She has heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” and now rests in eternal peace. Her faith is fulfilled, her suffering ended, and her soul made whole.

Virma will be remembered for her warmth, her servant heart, and the love she poured into this world. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and in the promise that one day, we will be reunited again.

A memorial service to honor and remember Virma Price will take place on Friday, December 26th, at 11:00 am, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors located at 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79109. Family and friends are invited to join in procession to Llano Cemetery following the service, where she will be laid to rest. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
