Warren "Frank" Frankin Hardy

Warren Franklin “Frank” Hardy, 87, of Amarillo, TX passed away on November 27, 2025.

Frank was born in Lowell, IN on September 6, 1938 to Bonnie (Clayton) and Herman Hardy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Bonnie Hardy; and brother, Joseph W. Hardy of Wilburton, OK.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Phyllis; sister, Marion Perry; and daughter, Jacqui Hardy.

Frank graduated from Perryton High School and Wayland Baptist. Brother Hardy was a part-time Primitive Baptist Preacher and worked full-time for 30 years for Southwestern Public Service Co. in various capacities retiring in 1998.

Frank was an extremely intelligent and creative individual, a gifted artist, mechanical genius, talented writer and always excelled in any endeavor he attempted.

Frank loved cars and car racing. He pursued his hobby as a driver, builder, and owner with several championships in his career.

Franks kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of all those who know and loved him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends, and many more whose lives we touched by him.

Frank was a gentle unassuming and humble man who had an unwavering faith in God. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

In honor of Frank, there will be no services.
