Amarillo

Wayne F. Sieck, 86, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025. A devoted brother, husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and loyal friend, Wayne's life was marked by hard work, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Born on February 9, 1939, in Grinnell, Iowa, to Louis Ferdinand Sieck and Josephine Marie (Kriegel) Sieck, Wayne grew up surrounded by strong family values that shaped the man he became. After completing high school, he answered the call to serve his country in the U.S. Army, a chapter of his life he remained deeply proud of.

For many years, Wayne worked as a Right-Away Agent (Landman) and ran the land department for Diamond Shamrock, now known as Valero, where he was respected for his work ethic and integrity. After retirement, he continued working for Coates Field Service as the Right-Away Supervisor.

Wayne shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sandra Ann (Moore) Sieck. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and strong family bonds. He was a devoted father to his three sons and their families: Brent & Trisha Sieck, Rusty & Tina Sieck, Kevin & Tisha Sieck.

Wayne was an avid collector of well, everything, from Classic Mustangs, Cap guns, Antiques, wind-up toys, Vintage Oil Signs and Pumps and the list could go on and on. His collecting habit led Wayne and Sandra opening up Hide and Seek Treasures on 6th street.

Wayne was also a proud grandfather to Blake (Kaily), Cole (Marisa), Caitlin (Keenan), Tanner, Blaine (Jordyn), Brandon (Harper), Skylar, Brady, Hallie (Jack), and Grace. His legacy continues through his cherished great-grandchildren: Cailynn, Avery, Aria, Archer, and Kooper.

He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie (Margaret) Sieck.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Josephine Sieck, and his brothers Melvin, Paul, and Lloyd Sieck.

He will be remembered for his strong character, kind heart, and steady presence. Wayne's life was a testament to the values of family, service, and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
