William (Wm.) Thomas Blair

William (Wm.) Thomas Blair, Jr. 87, of Lubbock, TX passed away October 13, 2026.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Wm. was born July 19, 1939 in Memphis, TN to William T. John Sr. and Deloris Blair. He graduated from Memphis HS in Memphis, TN. He then graduated from Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK with a degree in Business. He worked for Mobil Oil for 38 years. He then worked for Tri County Electric in Guymon, OK retiring after 10 years. Wm. was a rancher in Adrian, TX for the last 25 years.

Wm. was a West Texas rancher at heart. He loved the mountains and enjoyed helping people. He was all around, a very simple man!

He is preceded in death by his parents, William T. John Blair Sr. and Deloris Blair.

Wm. is survived by his 4 children Michael Blair of Tulsa, OK, Ann Navarrete of Artesia, NM, Rebecca Crump of Lubbock, TX, and Robert Blair of Lubbock, TX; siblings, Mary Elizabeth Blair of Aberdeen, MS; grandsons; Landon and Carter Shuman, Jasson Blair, Alex Blair, and Zach Crump; and several great-grandchildren.
