Myrtle Jane Parker, 75, of Dumas, died Monday, January 20, 2020.  No services will be held.  Cremation and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Jane was born on November 20, 1944 in Dumas to Turner and Beulah Cariker.  She graduated from Dumas High School.  She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid painter who loved crafting and gardening, but loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Coleman Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Nelson Parker of Dumas; a daughter, Jamie Braddock and husband Dennis of Pampa; a son, Justin Coleman of Paris, Texas; three brothers, A.J. Cariker of Fort Worth, Frank Cariker of Port Angeles, Washington, and Donald Cariker of Roundrock; a sister, Gail Melban of Dumas; and six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

  1. Jane, I remember fondly all the times you and I went home with each other after church on Sunday mornings, and then went to the Evelyn Theater to see a show. I know you’ve had a full life and a wonderful family. May you forever rest in peace. Linda (Gray) Emerson
