  1. I knew the Krodel family in the late 70’s when Liz and I worked together at Ford Credit. John was always laughing, smiling and fun to be around. I lost track of him after I left Tascosa Nat’l Bank and moved to Austin in 1989, but I always respected him and have fond memories of the Krodel family. Thinking of all of you.

  2. I worked with Mr. Krodel at Bowie Middle School for many years. He was a fair, generous man and cared for his staff and especially his students. I was very sad when he retired and so sad to hear of his passing.
    Rest in Peace

  3. I worked with John at Fannin when I did my student teaching there and later when I was the AISD Director of Science until leaving in 1988. Bowie was a frequent stop and always had a good visit with him. I have little doubt he always wanted the best for his students and staff. He left some big shoes to fill.

  4. With John’s passing, there will be another hole in our family’s list of cousins (Tom is Sonny’s first cousin – he was always known to us cousins as Sonny). It was an especially close-knit group, even if the ages spanned several decades. We were so fortunate to have visited with Sonny and Liz, and then with Sonny after Liz’s passing. Our sincere condolences to the Krodel family (to Karen, Stephen, and to Mike and Jeanette. Sonny was a good man, and God let him live a long time to help others.

  5. Fond memories when we were also members of Westminster Presbyterian. John and Liz were one of the couples that enjoyed many of the activities of the church. There were activities and classes for all ages. We enjoyed hearing from them and seeing them occasionally after we moved from Amarillo.
