Patricia “Pat” Kathleen Killen, 87, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, May 12, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Patricia was born July 10, 1935, in Borger, TX to Glen and Lottie Fish.
Patricia and Kenneth Killen were married on October 28, 1953, a very close date to Halloween. They were married in the fully Halloween theme decorated basement of the church in Spring Creek.
She worked for the big employers at the time in Amarillo including the Air Force base, Bell Helicopter, and Pantex. Following those jobs she helped her husband, Kenneth, run their business, Grand Battery & Electric.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, and loved shopping (her number 1 hobby). She loved pizza from Pizza Hut, computer games and Word Womp. She was upbeat and a very kind and loving woman. Patricia’s greatest love was her kids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, children, Dennis Killen, Daniel Killen, and Donna Killen Casta; and her brother, Dale Fish.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Moore; grandchildren, Wendy Casta, Lindsey Criss and husband Jeremy, and Ashley Stull; great-grandchild, Ember Hines; and her sister, Jean Musgraves.
