
Alejandro Vasquez, 88, of Amarillo, died Sunday, December 20, 2020
Viewing will be on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Alejandro was born on January 16, 1932, in San Antonio, Texas to Ascincion and Isabel Vasquez.
Alejandro married Ubelia Rivera on February 8, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a proud Army Veteran and a just as proud farmer in Ralls, Texas.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his father, Ascincion Vasquez; his mother, Isabel Vasquez; two brothers, Ascincion Vasquez Jr. and Fernando Vasquez; and a son, Roy Vasquez.
He is survived by his wife, Ubelia; four sons, Alex Vasquez Jr. of Bedford, Texas, Roy and Margie Vasquez of Amarillo, Texas, Ernest and Karman Vasquez of Amarillo, Texas, and David Vasquez of Amarillo, Texas; four daughters, Minerva Vasquez of Amarillo, Texas, Diana and Toby Aguayo of Lubbock, Texas, Linda and Jr. Valdez of Lubbock Texas, and Yoli and Rick McClenagan of Amarillo, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
