Alfred “Chris” Christopher Hendricks, 53, of Amarillo, TX passed away August 2, 2020.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Chris was born in Odessa, TX on August 18, 1966, to Darlene and Alfred Joe Hendricks. He graduated from Midland Lee High School in 1984.

Chris was a proud father of four children and an avid church goer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darlene and Al.

Survivors include his daughter, Graeson Hendricks, and sons, Griffin Hendricks, Josh Hendricks, and Jake Hendricks.

  1. Chris and I worked together in Midland many many years ago. We kept in touch thanks to Chris. I enjoyed our many long conversations and texts back and forth. He will be missed.

  5. Chris what a pleasure it was to meet you, and volunteer with you at Dove Creek Equine Rescue. You worked so well with the horses, and you were always smiling and so friendly.

  7. Although I never had the pleasure to meet Chris I know he is looking down on you all with happiness because he was a Christian and believed in the Lord Jesus. He is amongst total peace and joy right now.
    My sincerest condolences go out to your family.

  8. I have so many great memories of Chris clear back to high school! His sense of humor was unmatched. And his love for his kids was immeasurable. He will be so, so missed but I know he is healthy and whole with our Lord. Godspeed old friend.
