Alfredo Castillo, 60, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 9, 2023, in the Trinity Fellowship Church West Auditorium with Kyle Wilkinson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Alfredo was born on November 2, 1962, to Felix Castillo and Manuela Ybarra in Raymondville, Texas. He was a man of God, and a beloved husband, father, Popo, uncle, and friend. Alfredo loved making friends everywhere he went and enjoyed sharing the Word of God to everyone around him.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Castillo of Amarillo; sons, Jason Castillo of Florida, Aaron Castillo of Corpus Christi, Troy Rasco III of Dallas, and Quentin Torres of Amarillo; daughters, Nichole Castillo, and Chelsey Torres both of Amarillo, Danielle Castillo of Corpus Christi, and Allecia Castillo of Florida; grandchildren, Alazay and Alexia Castillo, Jaden, Serenity, and Faith Castillo, Kylie Padilla and Haisley Castillo, Eric and Kierra Castillo, Adelynn Medina, S’kyra and Yokhanan Torres, Robert Johnson, Troy Rasco IV, Brooklyn Rasco, Brent Rasco, Jace Rasco; and several sisters, brothers, nephews, and nieces.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Castillo and Manuela Ybarra; brothers, Joe and Juan Castillo; son, Joshua Castillo; and nephew; Jacob Castillo.

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. Alfredo was always cracking jokes and make us laugh even when he was a grouch. Lol. May he Rest in Peace. And dance with the angels.
