Allen Fowler, 39, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Paramount Baptist Church with Matt Johnson officiating. A viewing will be from 8 A.M.- 8 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Allen was born March 23, 1983, in Amarillo, TX to Jerry and Sherry Fowler.

Allen and Jenn married 17 ½ years ago in Canyon, TX.

He worked at Pantex for 15 years.

Allen especially loved playing video games with his son, Bradly, and watching his daughter, Logan, at her wrestling tournaments.  He also was so supportive of his nieces and nephews in their lives and activities.

Allen enjoyed jet-skiing at the lake, snowboarding, and downhill mountain biking.  He was super proud of his man cave and patio.  He liked growing things in his garden and loved his chickens and ducks.

Allen lived his life fast and furious, doing all things to the best of his ability.  He was always first to try new things and loved being the center of attention.

His heart was so big, and he loved from the depths of

his toes.  Everyone who knew Allen walked away a better person.  He was the shining star.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jenn; daughter, Logan; son, Bradly; parents, Sherry and husband Larry, and Jerry wife Tammy; siblings, Jess and husband Billy, BJ and wife Nicole, Charlie and wife Leslie; nieces and nephews, Harrison, Eden, Nicholas, Jasmine, Noah, Averie, Keelie, and Tate.  Jenn’s parents, Gary and Liz Hammond; Jenn’s grandparents, JR and Ruth Hammond; Jenn’s brothers and sisters, Tony and wife Stephanie, Donia, Rachael and husband Jonathan, Lindsey and husband Ben, Natalie and husband DJ, Joshua and wife Melanie; and Jenn’s nieces and nephews, Olivia, Landrie, Emerie, Eli, Garren, Brecken, Paxten, Adelyn, Everly, Lily, Alexis, Melody, Rylea, and Naomi.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of support be made to “For the Benefit of Allen Fowler” at any Amarillo National Bank location; or to The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center, 804 Quail Creek Dr, Amarillo, TX 79124.

  1. Allen was a multi-talented guy. I had the opportunity to work with him a few of his years at PANTEX. He had a broad spectrum of interests. A fun guy to chat with. I’m sure Heaven will put him to good use as someone’s Guardian Angel. He’ll certainly be missed by all of us in the workplace.

  3. As a manager he followed my instructions to be great manager. From coming up from a planner to a manager. R.I.P my prayers are with the family.

    I am praying for your family in this heart wrenching time. Eternal rest grant unto Allen, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Allen rest in peace. Amen. May almighty God bless you and your family Jennifer with his peace and strength, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  5. Allen was always great to participate in the wellness program at work, and even volunteered to help me with the Pantex Running Club for a time. He was a champion for his employees’ health and wellness, and always encouraged them to participate in his fun and charismatic way. We had many good conversations and developed a friendship throughout the years. Allen’s passing is a loss to all of us at Pantex. My condolences to his family.

  6. My heart is breaking for your loss. Allen was one of a kind. I worked with Allen at Pantex for seven years. In that time we laughed, argued, and collaborated on so many subjects. He genuinely wanted to make things better for everyone and tried his best to make the world a better place. One of my favorite memories of him was watching him help build ramps with the Texas Ramp Project. He loved putting those puzzles together to help those folks have a better quality of life. My prayer is that God helps you and your family find some kind of peace.

  7. Allen Fowler was a Sr. Manager for Pantex Infrastructure. He started his career as a Sheet metal worker and quickly excelled up the leadership chain due to his extraordinary work ethic and understanding of the business. We often called him the mad scientist because he was so brilliant and often had ideas that took us a while to understand. He made so many improvements to our organization they are too many to list. Allen was a fierce team member that wanted the processes to flow effectively throughout Pantex. He brought the team incredible insight with his knowledge of prioritizing and controls. Allen was truly one of a kind and will be missed both personally and professionally!

  8. Allen was such a great person and a dear friend of mine. We worked many years together as a team like no other. He always wanted to perform the best job and always did. He had a great vision and was so talented of putting together a program second to none. I am proud of Allen, I sure did love him as a friend and he will be missed by me and all of his work team. The stories I could tell!

  9. Allen was a wonderful boss to me. I will always remember him as a hard worker and a kind soul. Always wanting to help others. Condolences to you Jennifer, Logan and Bradly and all of Allen’s relatives. Heaven got a special guy and he will be missed.
