Eva Vigil- Ramirez was born on October 21, 1932 in Mosquero Canyon, New Mexico to Cornelia and Ignacio Vigil. She was one of 12 children in her family, making her a natural mother very early in life. She then married Magine Ramirez in 1952 and had two daughters, Alice and Betty. Throughout the past few decades, the legacy that Eva and Magine started has expanded to multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren. Eva was a humor filled, honest and loving woman. She never failed to put a smile on your face or tell you the truth. She was an accomplished bingo connoisseur where she was well known as a weekly player. She especially loved when she was able to travel to Albuquerque to play the penny slots at the casinos. While at home, she enjoyed spending her time playing Parcheesi, Solitaire and watching any sporting event being featured on the TV. She lived deeply in her faith, going to mass when she was able to and reciting the rosary every night before bed. Anyone that knew Eva is destined to have a story about her that will make you laugh.

She is survived by her daughters, Alice Gutierrez and husband Ramon, and Betty Andrade and husband Mike. Her siblings, Charlotte Martinez, Petro Vigil, Ralph Vigil and wife Isabel, Carmen Ruiz, Ignacio Vigil Jr. and wife Celina. Eva also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved and admired her very much.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Magine Ramirez, her siblings, Carmelita Vigil, Petro Nilo, Irene Vigil, Gilbert Vigil, Fernando Vigil, and Betsy Cordova.

The family would like to extend their gratitude towards the High Plains Senior Care Hospice employees for all of their amazing work.
