Barbara June Davis Hardin, 75, of Amarillo, passed away May 15, 2022, in Amarillo, TX. Barbara was born in Oklahoma City on September 24, 1946, to Mart Ray and Roxie Davis. She grew up in Sayre, Oklahoma. She moved to the Texas panhandle after marrying her high school sweetheart, Jerry Hardin on March 14, 1964. They raised their family of two daughters and one son in Hereford, TX. After Jerry’s death in 1996, Barbara moved to Amarillo. Barbara

made friends everywhere she went. She loved to spend time with her two daughters and their families, especially her great-grandkids. Barbara loved to play games and was fiercely competitive. She enjoyed vacationing and fishing in Red River. We know Barbara is having a much-anticipated reunion with her Lord and Savior, her beloved husband, and her sweet son. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry, and her son Justin Randall Hardin. She is survived by her two daughters Misti Chancler and husband Jimmy of Amarillo, Tammy Gilmore and husband Ronnie of New Braunfels, a sister Shirley Joseph and husband Paul of Grove, Oklahoma, And Five Grandkids;

Duran Gilmore and wife Megan of Amarillo, Dillon Gilmore and wife Shermina of Austin, Karli Parish and husband Jacob of Killeen, TX, Colton Chancler and wife Madison of Amarillo and Jori Chancler of Amarillo and six Great-Grandkids.

We will celebrate Barbara’s life with a small family graveside service, to be held at a later date.

  1. A number of my Hereford memories included Barbara. She & I had a lot of fun …. we shared the laughs plus the tears. Good memories.
